Funeral services for Roland Maldonado, 52, of Garland, Texas, will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 8, 2012 at McCoy Chapel of Memories. Rev. Ward Hayes will officiate. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
Visitation will be Sunday, Oct. 7, 2012, from 6-8 p.m. at McCoy Funeral Home.
Maldonado died Thursday, Oct. 4, 2012, in Garland, Texas.
He was born Aug. 20, 1960, in Sweetwater.
Survivors include his parents, Pete and Mary Maldonado of Sweetwater; twin brother Ronnie Maldonado and wife Ophelia of Sweetwater; sister, Teresa Alvarado of Sweetwater; and several nieces and nephews and friends.
Pallbearers will be Michael Morton, Randy Adamez, Mathew Deleon, Marc Villanueva, Brandon Maldonado and Marcus Maldonado.
Honorary pallbearers will be Raul Gonzales, Jesse Deloera, Michael Franques and members of his church.
