Roscoe to host Independence Day celebration

Fireworks will be among several aspects of Downtown Roscoe's Independence Day celebrations

Area residents are once again invited to join in the festivities "On The Bricks" in historic downtown Roscoe to celebrate our great nation.
There will be a parade starting at 10 a.m. followed by food, crafts and kid's activities in Old Town Park and a Mud Bog at George Parks Field (Gates open at 11 a.m.). More information on the Plowboy Mudbog can be found on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/plowboy.mudbog.5?sk=wall).
The live music will begin "On The Bricks" at 6 p.m. with Greg Maldo (http://www.myspace.com/gregmaldo), followed by Curtis Potter (www.curtispottercountry.com) and FIREWORKS.
