105 pairs of shoes purchased for local students

Thursday morning at the shoe department in Wal-Mart, several members of the Sweetwater Rotary Club and staff and administrators of Sweetwater ISD had the privilege of helping 105 local students find a new pair of shoes for Christmas.
The shoe drive was a huge success and there were many smiles and happy hearts from all who participated. The Sweetwater Rotary Club has been hosting this event for 10 years now, according to Russ Petty, Shoe Drive Chairman.
