Gordon Gloria, Community Programs Service Coordinator for West Central Texas Council of Governments in Abilene, was the speaker at this month's Lunch and Learn Seminar hosted by Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital.
Mr. Gloria spoke to attendees about the free services his office provides for the elderly in Nolan and 18 other counties. Some of those services are: homemaker services, respite care, caregiver support, chore maintenance, personal assistant care and income support.
No income guidelines are required for these services. The only requirement is the person needing service must be 60 years of age or older.
