S’water teams get split against B-Spring

Kris Mayes (shown) gets ready to deliver a pitch during Tuesday’s game between Sweetwater and Big Spring. Mayes threw a no-hitter as the Mustangs won 3-2 for their first district victory, but the Lady Mustangs lost 5-1. Both teams will host Wylie on Friday.
