Banyard also participated on a tryout basis in the Saints’ minicamp that was held from June 5-7 in New Orleans.Following his transfer from Texas Christian where he initially committed, Banyard spent his final two years of college eligibility at Texas-El Paso where he rushed for a total of 1,490 yards with 14 touchdowns.
