Salome Najar Molina

Our Mother, Salome Najar Molina, has gone to be with the Lord and will be greatly missed by all of us. She died peacefully, surrounded by her sons, daughters and grandchildren on Nov. 21, at Nolan Nursing and Rehab in Sweetwater. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ann’s Catholic Church at 10 a.m. on Monday, Nov. 26. Burial will follow at Mitchell County Cemetery.
Mrs. Molina is preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Rosa Dominguez; and grandson, Manuel Molina, Jr.
She is survived by her husband, Pascual Molina of Colorado City; daughters, Angie Dominguez of Odessa, Mary Alvarez of Colorado City, Sylvia Palma of Sweetwater, Belinda Maldonado of Sweetwater, Norma Rosas of Sweetwater, Sandy Martinez of Colorado City, Melissa Lujan of Colorado City and JoAnn Thurston of Meridian, ID, sons; Manuel Molina of Florida, Leo Molina of Dallas, Ricky Molina of Lubbock, Joe Molina of Midland, Jeff Molina of Eielson AFB in Alaska and Tracy Molina of Midland; as well as numerous grandkids and great-grandkids.
Visitation will be held Saturday, Nov. 24, and Sunday, Nov. 25, from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., with Rosary at 7 p.m. at Kiker-Seale Funeral Home Chapel.
Services are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
