Sammy Anderson, 26, of Abilene, passed away Friday, Oct. 26, 2012, at a medical center in Dallas, Texas.
A memorial service will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 30, 2012, at Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, 5701 Highway 277 South, Abilene, with Richard Adkisson officiating, directed by Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home.
Sammy was born July 7, 1986 to Marshall Anderson and Beverly (Berning) Anderson in Poncatello, Indiana. He was employed by Dallas County as a computer technician.
Sammy was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Snow Anderson; and his grandmother, Phyllis Jones Spears.
Survivors include his father, Marshall Anderson and wife, Tonya, of Abilene; his mother, Beverly Berning of Oregon; two step grandmothers, Betty Johnson of Abilene and Eva Anderson of New Castle, Indiana; a brother, Samuel Morgan of Lubbock, Texas; two sisters, Rachel Raylynn Anderson of Oregon and Tabatha Gonyo and husband, Michael, of Florida; and several nieces and nephews.
Sammy’s passing was with a warrior’s heart and a loving soul.
