Texas State Technical College System announces its search for the next president of TSTC West Texas. Gail Lawrence has served in an interim capacity since former president, Mike Reeser, was chosen to serve as the TSTC System Chancellor/CEO on Nov. 4, 2010.
The Chancellor seeks a person of vision and action whose experience demonstrates the capacity to provide transformational leadership for the college.
âThe person we select must bring to TSTC a combination of experiences demonstrating competency in change leadership, innovation, accomplishment, and on-theâfly learning,â said Chancellor Reeser.
Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled; however, for best considerations, applications should be provided by March 9.

The Chancellor and TSTC Board Chair, Dr. Rolf Haberecht, have established a presidential search committee to be chaired by the Vice Chancellor for HOD.
The Presidential Search Committee will be comprised of following:
â¢ Two Regents appointed by Chairman Haberecht,
â¢ Current TSTC presidents,
â¢ Vice Chancellor for Human and Organization Development,
â¢ TSTC West Texas faculty senate president,
â¢ TSTC West Texas staff senate president and
â¢ TSTC West Texas student body representative.
