Seven earn all-district recognition

A total of seven Sweetwa-ter High School basketball players have been given all-District 5-3A recognition for their outstanding play this past season.
Senior Alicia Finn was named to the 5-3A girls all-district first team for the second straight year. Also, junior Kendra Crosson earned second team all-district honors, while senior Candice Hernandez was given all-district honorable mention.
For the Sweetwater boys, sophomore Kaleb Hoover was named the newcomer of the year in District 5-3A after averaging a team-high 15 points a game. Also, senior Taylor Jones was named to the all-district second team for the second straight year.
Two Mustangs, senior Dylon Adames and sopho-more Dylan Bennett, earned all-district honorable men-tion for Sweetwater.
