Several events scheduled today

Today, August 21, the Sweetwater LIFT (Living is for Today) luncheon will be held at 12:30 p.m. at The Center at TSTC.
Call 325-670-6999 to make a reservation for the buffet lunch (there is a cost to lunch). The program will be presented by Nancy Robinson Masters.
Tonight, Highland will have their Meet the Teacher event.
From 5-7 p.m. the PTO will be serving brisket sandwiches. From 5:30-6 p.m. the laptop policy parent/student orientation will take place for grades 6-12.
Students will be able to meet their teachers from 6-7 p.m. and Big Blue Preview will begin at 7 p.m. in the Activity Gym.
Also, Mustang Moms will hold their annual silent auction and Adopt-A-Mustang/Lady Mustang/Cheerleader during the scrimmage against Clyde and Meet The Mustangs at 6:30 p.m. at Mustang Bowl.
And fans at the Sweetwater vs. Clyde football scrimmage will be asked to participate in "Our Day To Shine" by making a donation, which will be used for the Texas High School Coaches Education Foundation to pay for athletes and coaches with special needs.
Sweetwater and Clyde are among the many schools participating in "Our Day To Shine." The public is invited.
