Sweetwater firefighters raised money this past weekend in Sweetwater to help people with neuromuscular disease.
The city’s fire department held its annual Fill the Boot drive to benefit Jerry’s Kids and the Muscular Dystrophy Association. Firefighters collected donations at the corner of Broadway and Elm Street on Friday, as well as at the Interstate 20, Georgia intersection.
Those who want to donate also can stop in at the local fire station to make a contribution.
Shown is Sweetwater firefighter Clinton McKeehan receiving a donation.
