SFD recognizes Wal-Mart

November 8, 2013

Randie Jones, Sweetwater Wal-Mart Manager was presented a certificate of appreciation by the Sweetwater Fire Department.
"I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the donations your company has helped us with in the recent years. All the way back to about five years ago when Wal-Mart helped us purchase things like the ladder truck, help us buy a new dive boat, the gift card donations to help supply food for the community at our 105th anniversary party, and most recently, the gift cards to update our EOC here at the station," said Sweetwater Fire Chief Grant Madden.
"The dedication to the safety of the local citizens can be seen in the actions of both you and the Sweetwater Wal-Mart store. The Sweetwater Fire Department is grateful for all the financial assistance and trust in our department you and the Wal-Mart company have provided us over the years."
