Sharon Ford

Sharon Sue Ford, 56, of Sweetwater, died Monday, April 11, 2011, at her residence. Mrs. Ford was cremated. A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Ford was born April 20, 1954, in New Orleans, La. She married Glen Ford in Houma, La. Sharon was a Certified Nurse's Aide and was very compassionate about helping and caring for others. She had also worked for Popeye's Chicken in Sweetwater. She had lived in Sweetwater from 2006 until 2008 and Tyler, Texas before. She was a Baptist.
Survivors include her daughter, Valerie Ford of Sweetwater; son, Nicholas Ford and wife Jody of Sweetwater; husband, Glen "Red" Ford of Muncie, Ind.; five grandchildren, Brittany Ford of Sweetwater, Michael Ford of Sweetwater, Elizabeth Ford of Sweetwater, Cecelia Ovard of Midland and Joseph Ovard of Midland; mother, Mary Mesche of Gray, La.; sister, Carla Lilly of Tyler; and brother, Bud Brossette of Oklahoma.
She was preceded in death by her father, Harold Brossette, Sr. and her grandmother, Pearl Anders.
