SHS girls place 1st at Snyder tourney

The Sweetwater High School girls golf team won first place among Division II teams at the Snyder tournament held this past weekend. The team’s two-day score of 810 gave them a 21-shot win over Big Spring’s 831 total, while Graham placed third with an 832.
The top Sweetwater individual was Corynn Martin, who shot 95-95-190 to place third among medalists. The other Lady Mustangs on the team were Alexis Castillo (101-93-194), Kensi Chowning (106-105-211), Payton Moore (104-111-215) and Alaina Andrews (115-113-228), while Gabby Reyes (105-113-218) and Christa Martin (116-107-223) played as medalists.
