SHS coach Shella Arn-wine said she is certain that District 5-3A will compete well in Austin at the state tournament May 9-10. The top two at district advance to the regional tournament in Lubbock on April 20-21.
“I am proud of each and every one of my kids,” she said. “Each kid has been playing and preparing for this district tournament since (last) August.
“I could not have asked for a better group of kids that were willing to give so much of themselves on and off the court. I have really enjoyed coaching the Sweetwater tennis team.”
