SHS, SMS students make honor choirs

TMEA (Texas Music Educators' Association) South Zone Honor Choir members from SISD

Several Sweetwater High School (SHS) and Sweetwater Middle School (SMS) students made the TMEA (Texas Music Educators' Association) South Zone Honor Choir and performed in a concert on Saturday, Nov. 2 in Clyde. Students from SMS include Emma Foust, Megan Dean, Anastasia White, Max Rodriguez, Lauren Browning, Aubrey Delacruz and Taiden Smith, along with SHS student Martin Morini.
The following students from Sweetwater Middle School (SMS) auditioned and made the Sixth Grade Honor Choir, and they also performed in a concert on Saturday, Nov. 2 in Clyde: Mikayla Vanderpool, Jacob Carter, Kolbi Turner, Zoe Hunt, Miranda Sloan and Katie Tyson.
