Pictured are Steven Le and Hayley Brownlow, recipients of the Terry Scholar Foundation Scholarship.
The Terry Foundation is a Houston-based scholarship program founded to provide scholarships to outstanding Texas high school graduates and transfer scholars for attendance at public colleges and universities within the state.
Steven and Hayley are both attending Texas Tech University, one of the schools that the Terry Foundation provides for. The students applied for the scholarship and were chosen based on that application to attend an interview in Dallas.
Sixty students were interviewed and 30 received the scholarship. Steven and Hayley were awarded and will receive full tuition up to $100,000 each.
