Shuttle to be offered at Rattlesnake Round-Up

The Sweetwater Jaycee’s World’s Largest Rattlesnake Round-Up, Sweetwater Rifle & Pistol Club Gun Knife & Coin Show is here! This world famous event brings approximately 30 thousand guests to the community and area. "This event is a great asset to our community," said Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce Executive Vice President Leah Andrews. "It helps so many organizations in the area raise much needed funds. Not only the Jaycees and the many children's organizations that the Jaycees support, but many assorted non-profit and civic organizations, benefit from the thousands of visitors to our area as well as do the hotels, gas stations, restaurants and other retail establishments."
The Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce is pleased to be able to furnish two shuttle buses on Saturday that will travel between the hotels, K-Mart parking lot, the TA Travel Center, the 4th and Elm Church of Christ Activity Building and the Nolan County Coliseum. There will be a travel schedule posted in each hotel and inside each bus.
City and Rural Rides (CARR) will begin the first pick up cycle at the hotels at 9 a.m. on Saturday. The last pick up cycle for the day will be at the bus stop by the Nolan County Coliseum at 5 p.m. Saturday. There is no charge to ride the shuttle buses. This free service is provided by the Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce.
The shuttle bus will make the following stops: Best Western Hotel, Budget Inn, Country Hearth Inn, Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, LaQuinta Inn, Ranch House Motel, TA Travel Center, Sleep Express, Fourth and Elm Church of Christ Activity Building and the K-Mart parking lot.
Absolutely no personal belongings should be left on the buses. Neither CARR nor the Sweetwater Chamber of Commerce are responsible for any lost, damaged or stolen property.
