Sibyl Louise Walding

Sibyl Louise Walding, 93, passed away, Sunday, Aug. 14, 2011, at Rolling Plains Memorial Hospital in Sweetwater. Funeral services will be Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Kiker-Seale Chapel. Dr. Jerry Shields will be officiating services.
Sibyl was born on July 28, 1918, in Texline, TX to parents Victor and Grace Holder. Sibyl married Thomas Dennis Walding on March 17, 1935, in Sweetwater. Sibyl was a member of the First Baptist Church in Colorado City. She was a member of the Pink Ladies, was Valedictorian of Westbrook High School and was a board member of the Wallace Center. She taught Sunday school for over 40 years and worked for Production Credit office for 37 years.
Survivors include her daughter, Bobby Cutler Hill and husband Gerald of Duncanville, TX; grandchildren, Johannah Bonewald and husband Jerry of Springbranch, TX, Christi Conard and husband Frank of Sweetwater, Cindy McWhorter and husband Rick of Dallas, TX, Greg Cutler and wife Paula of Galveston, TX and Cathy Wolfe and husband Karl of Houston; eight great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Dennis; parents, Victor and Grace; daughter, Barbara Lynn Miller; and great-grandchild, Ashley Cutler.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Kiker-Seale Funeral Home.
