SISD retirees honored

The Sweetwater Independent School District hosted a retirement reception on Wednesday afternoon to honor those who have served the community and students through education and are retiring after this school year. Being honored were (back row from left to right) David Mayes, Carol Abernathy, Debra Soto, David Gray, (front row from left to right) Carolyn Hefner, Betty Sue Walker, Ann Kamer, Lynette Huck, Annette Denton and not pictured, Ann Bodenhamer, Velia Gomez, Thomas Hines and Patsy Waldrop. Each honored guest was introduced by Sweetwater ISD Superintendent Terry Pittman and received a framed commemorative certificate in recognition of their years of service to the school district.
