SNAP building now complete

November 21, 2013

The SNAP (Senior Nutrition Activities Program) building is finally completed and is ready to welcome back its patrons.
On Wednesday, the final items were being moved into the new facility, according to SNAP director Tonya Challis. She expressed the staff's excitement to finally move into the building.
Operations will resume on Thursday from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. — their typical hours of business, with lunch being served at noon. On Friday, SNAP will hold its annual Thanksgiving lunch.
For those attending the holiday lunch, please call 235-6344 before 9:30 a.m. so that staff will have an accurate count.
