Southeast Elementary School is celebrating Red Ribbon Week this week. Red Ribbon Week is an alcohol, tobacco and other drug and violence prevention awareness campaign observed annually in October.
On Monday, students showed their pride in being drug free by wearing their favorite college, trade school or military shirts. Shown are Mikey Duke, Miguel Juarez, Lexi DeLeon, Mingo Mendoza, Brycen Cantu and Addison Phillips.
Southeast students continued today by dressing for their dream career. On Wednesday, students will wear crazy socks, caps on Thursday to ‘cap off’ a drug free year and wear red on Friday to pledge to be drug-free for the future.
