Storybook Theatre at the library

Actors from the New Braunfels Storybook Theatre came to the County-City Library in Sweetwater to perform “Two Pigs and T.H.E. Wolf,” an entertaining and educational twist on “The Three Little Pigs” story. Children and parents attended the 45-minute showing at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday July 20, 2011. The story of Gracie, Suzie, and Theodore Howl Eater was not only hilarious, but emphasized the benefits of making proper choices in even the most difficult circumstances. The audience was asked to participate and even learned a little sign language. A grant from the Texas Commission on the Arts and money raised from the library book sale in April helped pay for the Storybook Theatre performance.
