Sub-varsities win

Sweetwater went 2-for-2 in sub-varsity football ac-tion vs. Andrews Thursday at Mustang Bowl.
Sweetwater’s JV (1-1) beat Andrews 28-24. Adrian Vizzerra had two rushing touchdowns and Denzell Moore one, while J’Corey Amos (5 catches, 53 yards) scored on a pass reception. Deshaun Williams (three catches, 91 yards), Mike Lawrence (six catches, 74 yards) and Sean Norman (5, 63) were also top receivers. Defensive standouts were Vizzerra (six tackles), Moore (five tackles), Amos (three tackles) and Max Gomez (interception).
Sweetwater’s freshman improved to 2-0 with a 36-14 win over Andrews.
The offense was led by Jacoby Hunt (3 TD runs) and Dylan Ausborn (2 TD runs), while Javier Olguin had two conversion runs and Hunter Mobley one. John Clift, Carlos Gallegos, Manuel Navarrette, Keevin Houston, Louis Vasquez, Justin Allen, Mobley, Jun-ior Lawhon and Colter Reed were other offensive standouts.
Hunt (fumble recovery, interception), Raymond Delgado (fumble recovery), Olguin (forced fumble, quarterback sack), Jordan McGee (fumble recovery), Lowell Williams (forced fumble and fumble recovery), Gabriel Salazar (sack), Michael Green, Peyton Hill, Tyler Rea, Tristen Vasquez and Alex Buchanan were standouts on defense.
