Sub-varsity teams lose final games

Sweetwater’s sub-varsity football teams ended their seasons by losing games at Wylie on Thursday.
Sweetwater’s JV finished 2-3 in district and 6-4 over-all after losing 49-12, while the freshman team wound up 0-5 in district and 3-6 overall after losing 47-0.
Max Gomez had a 16-yard touchdown pass to Michael Green as well as a 4-yard TD run for the JV team, while Denzell Moore on of-fense and Branson Guelker and Hunter Mobley on de-fense were also standouts.
For the freshman team, Garrett Davison and Peyton Hill had pass receptions and Jordan McGee, Javier Olguin, Dylan Ausborn and Luis Vasquez were also of-fensive standouts, while Tristan Vasquez, Junior Lawhon, Robert King and Gabriel Salazar were stand-outs defensively.
