Summer sports camps set

There are still a few summer sports camps left for local students to attend before the new school year begins.
A Mustang Golf Camp will be held July 16-18 at Sweetwater Country Club for ages 6 and up.
Sessions are from 9-11 a.m. each day. The cost of the camp will be $60 per child, with family discounts available.

A Mustang Football Camp will be held July 22-25 at Mustang Bowl from 7:30-10:30 a.m. daily for students entering grades 3-9.
The cost of the camp is $30, and all campers will receive individual instruction from members of the Mustang coaching staff.
The camp will place emphasis on skills and drills and will also have both punt, pass and kick instruction and competitions. There will also be refreshments, T-shirts and certificates.
Checks should be made payable to Sweetwater High School.

A volleyball camp will be held July 22-25 at the Sweetwater Middle School gym for students who have completed grades 3-8.
The camp will be from held from 9-11:45 a.m. each day. The cost is $35 which includes a T-shirt. Pre-registration is appreciated. A concession stand will be available.
The goal is to improve players’ skills in volleyball for the upcoming season with instruction through games and fun team competitions.
Jump Rope Camp will be held Aug. 5-7 for children who have completed kindergarten through the fourth grade. For more information, contact Rajeania Pitt-man at 338-4342.
