July 22, 2011

Nolan VFD to hold annual brisket meal fundraiser on Saturday, August 13 starting at 5:30 p.m.

The Nolan Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual fundraiser from 5:30-8 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 13, 2011, an all-you-can-eat brisket meal with all the fixings. Adult plates will be $10 and anyone under 10 years old can eat for $5.
The Nolan Volunteer Fire Department chefs will be taking advance orders for brisket to go at $50 for a full brisket and $35 for a half brisket. To place an advance order, call Mark Morrow at 325-338-8899 or Rolan Petty at 325-236-5496.
The Nolan Volunteer Fire Department encourages the public to support them in their fire fighting efforts. Often the volunteer are the first called out to a rural fire and the last to leave. This fundraiser is the only one the VFD puts on each year. All donations are greatly appreciated.
