SW’s Amos named to preseason Super Team

Bray Amos, one of six Nolan County athletes recognized by ARN

Sweetwater’s Bray Amos has been named as a wide receiver to the All-Big Coun-try preseason Super Team announced Sunday by the Abilene Reporter-News.
The 5-7, 160-pound jun-ior had 50 catches this past season for 652 yards. Sweetwater’s Isaiah McGee (defensive back), Kaegan Jeffrey (quarterback) and Kaleb Hoover (wide recei-ver) were listed as “others to watch” by the newspaper, as were two other Nolan County athletes — Roscoe linebacker Vincent Pantoja and Blackwell defensive back Mason Magness.
Hoover, a senior, caught 38 passes for 562 yards last season for the Mustangs. Jeffrey had 2,089 yards passing as a sophomore and 19 touchdowns; McGee had 56 tackles. Roscoe’s Pantoja had 92 solo tackles as well as 44 assists; Magness was in on 110 tackles.
