SW grid teams get one victory vs. Snyder

Snyder 34,
JV White 20
Jay Lomas scored two of Sweetwater White’s three touchdowns with a 1-yard run followed by a 27-yard catch from Kaegan Jeffrey. Jeffrey also threw a 46-yard touchdown pass to James Clift as well as a 2-point pass to Duanta Williams. Angel Caballero and Andrew Davis were defensive standouts for the Ponies.
Snyder 32, JV Red 0
Kris Duran’s 35-yard run was an offensive highlight for Sweetwater Red while on defense, Zach Garcia recorded a tackle for a loss.
Snyder 14,
8th grade Red 13
Sweetwater Red played Snyder within a single point, scoring on an 8-yard Adrian Vizzerra run and a 4-yard pass from Max Gomez to Michael Lawrence. Michael Hunt kicked an extra point.
Snyder 12,
8th grade White 8
Sweetwater White also kept it close in its game, losing to Snyder on a last-minute pass play. Sweetwater’s TD came on a 25-yard run by Deshuan Williams, who also added a two-point run.
7th grade Red 44,
Snyder 0
Jacoby Hunt scored four touchdowns on runs of 23, 54, 43 and 45 yards in lead-ing Sweetwater Red to an easy win. Hunt also had two 2-point runs and forced a fumble which Isaias Aguilar recovered and ran 25 yards for a TD. Daniel Olguin scored on a 56-yard run, with Jordan McGee adding a 2-point run. Other defensive standouts in addition to Hunt and Aguilar were Matt Figueroa (fumble recovery), Gaiden Crelia, Keevin Houston, McGee, Olguin and Jeffrey Ausborn.
Snyder 14,
7th grade White 0
Sweetwater White was unable to score points but had several defensive standouts, including Gabriel Sala-zar (tackle for loss), Dylan Heiskell, Lowell Williams and Ramon Saldivar.
