Sweetwater ISD participating in Champions for Kids SIMPLE Giving program

March 20, 2014

From March 22 to April 7, community members shopping at Wal-Mart, located at 407 NE Georgia Avenue will have a chance to donate oral care items (toothbrushes, toothpaste, etc.), and breakfast foods (from April 22 to May 5) to students in their district as a part of Champions for Kids' SIMPLE Giving program.
Additionally, Champions for Kids will provide $10,000 and $1,000 awards to the school districts who collect the most donations from a single Wal-Mart store in each geographic region from March 22 to April 7. This money can go toward providing additional oral care treatment, education and items in the school district.
All items donated will be distributed to families within the Sweetwater Independent School District.
