Sweetwater remembers all of its veterans

Hoyt House Veteran's Day ceremony

Hoyt House honored veterans with a pancake breakfast and presentation by guest speaker, Nolan County Veterans Service Officer Robert McBride. McBride spoke about how Veterans Day is becoming undercelebrated. We are currently in the longest running war, The War on Terror, and we have the fastest sinking veteran population. He reminded the audience, for veterans, everyday is Veterans Day. Pictured above, in no particular order, are veterans: Lewis Davis, T.A. Rosson, Nolan County Judge Tim Fambrough, Sam Smith, James Vaughn and NCVSO Robert McBride.
