Swinging for the Cure

A Swing for the Cure Breast Cancer Golf Tournament will be held Saturday, May 11 at Sweetwater Country Club with a 9 a.m. shotgun start. Pictured here are Jill Locklar, left, and Carola Martin with some of the pink Titleist golf bags that will be given as prizes for the winning team.
The cost to play in the tournament will be $50 per person, with prizes awarded for first, second and third places. All proceeds will be used to benefit breast cancer awareness.
The tournament is a four-person scramble, and hole sponsorships are $100. To register or for more information, call Don Timm at Sweetwater Country Club at 235-8093, or contact either Locklar at 320-4800 or Martin at 725-5625.
