On Tuesday, June 17, the Texas Alliance for Minorities in Engineering (TAME) Trailblazer visited the County-City Library.
The Trailblazer is a 40 foot exhibit trailer that houses a variety of engineering and science exhibits targeted at students in grades 3-7. It engages students, teachers and parents through hands-on activities and exhibits that highlight fundamental concepts in Magnetism, Aerodynamics, Weather, Space, Alternative Energy and Medicine.
VJ Willis, Trailblazer Associate, led children and parents through the trailer while explaining the different exhibits. Children also got their faces painted and watched a movie, all part of the Summer Reading Program at the County-City Library.
