Thurmon Doyl Cain

Thurmon (T.D.) Cain, 93, of Lawrenceburg, KY and Argyle, TX, died Saturday, June 18, 2011, at his residence. He was born Jan. 20, 1918, in Cooper, TX, son of the late Percy B. and Alice Gertrude Wallace Cain. He was a retired Santa Fe Railroad employee and served in the Army Air Forces during WWII.
Thurmon is survived by his wife, Edith Ruth Logsdon, with whom he would have celebrated their 75th (June 30, 1937 to June 30, 2011 married in Sweetwater) wedding anniversary. He is also survived by a daughter, Sharon Cain Burdick and husband Bill; a granddaughter, Tracy Foster Braziel and a great-grandson, Dietrick Reed Braziel, all of Lawrenceburg, KY.
Thurmon was a member of the Lawrenceburg First Baptist Church. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 22, at Sweetwater Cemetery with Kevin Turner officiating, under the care and direction of McCoy Funeral Home.
