Tinsel and Trains returns to the Texas Theatre

December 4, 2010

Texas Theatre

The Texas Theatre will once again host the second annual Tinsel and Trains Christmas celebration. Immediately following the city parade and Christmas tree lighting, the Texas Theatre will open it’s doors for pictures with Santa Clause. There will also be a large model train layout for viewing. Refreshments will be available for purchase.
This is all in an effort to make the Christmas celebration a city-wide event for all ages. Just like last year, the Christmas parade, which is sponsored by the Chamber of Commerce, will start at 4:30 p.m. at the Nolan County Plaza parking lot. The parade will end at the Nolan County Courthouse. This is where the annual Christmas tree lighting will commence followed by Santa Clause making his way to the Texas Theatre for pictures with the kids. Money raised will benefit the Texas Theatre Restoration Fund.
