Trey Aiken, Mike Fernandez, Billie Johnston & Chris Casto

It's not too late to make a donation to Sweetwater Goodfellows. Recently Trey Aiken, Mike Fernandez and Chris Casto presented a check on behalf of Texas National Bank to Billie Johnston, President of Goodfellows.
This year donations were considerably low in collection boxes around town and in local schools that firefighters picked up and collected. It has also been seen with the monetary donations that have been collected and mailed in.
Goodfellows boxes and volunteers are seen around town often during the months of November and December, but what so many don't know is that Goodfellows is a year-round effort in the community. Volunteers shop year round with the donations that are made, hitting sales to stretch each dollar to purchase toys and items for the following Christmas.
Every year the number of needy children and families grows and Goodfellows makes sure that the money goes as far as it can to help each and every family. This year, 851 individuals in Sweetwater and Nolan County received assistance of the Sweetwater Goodfellows. That could not have been possible without this community's help and generosity.
If you would like to make a donation to Sweetwater Goodfellows, drop you donation in the mail to Sweetwater Goodfellows, P.O. Box 1148, Sweetwater, Texas 79556.
