Shelton Toliver

Roscoe’s Shelton Toliver is a second team all-state selection at wide receiver-end in Class 1A by the Asso-ciated Press Sports Editors.
Toliver, a senior, was the Plowboys’ top receiver this year with 78 catches for 987 yards and 17 touchdowns.
“I am extremely proud of Shelton and very happy he received such a tremendous honor. He had a great season, “ coach Jake Freeman said. “He was a game chan-ger and made some huge plays for us. He was also a leader both on and off the field. Shelton is a great football player, but he’s an even better young man. He is very deserving of this honor.”
It was the first all-state recognition for Toliver, who helped Roscoe double its win total from two to four games this season and con-tend for a playoff berth.
