Funeral services for Tommy Jack Webb, 58, of Sweetwater, will take place at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 2, 2014, at McCoy Chapel of Memories with Rev. Claud Fry and Rev. Roger Bennett officiating. Interment will follow at Sweetwater Cemetery under the direction of McCoy Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday, May 1, 2014, at McCoy Funeral Home.
Webb died Monday, April 28, 2014, at his residence. He was born Jan. 11, 1956, in Oakland, Calif. He married Lucy Heredia on Aug. 14, 1976, in Sweetwater. He loved motorcycles, fishing, knives and guns and hunting. Webb went to First Baptist Church in Plains, Texas. He loved his family and knew no strangers.
Survivors include his wife, Lucy Webb of Sweetwater; his father, Thomas Webb of Brownfield; sisters, Helen Kimbrell and husband Jerry of Shallowater, Donna Fry and husband Claud of Abilene, Diane Bennett and husband Roger of Brownfield and Jessica Heredia Price and husband Jeff of Sweetwater; numerous nieces and nephews; and mother-in-Law, Connie Heredia of Sweetwater.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Pat Webb; sister, Stacy Webb; nephew, Xavier Fry; and father-in-law, Raul Heredia.
Pallbearers will be Matt Fry, Seth Fry, Travis Bennett, Justin Bennett, Jeff Price, Aaron Sisson and Brady Graf.
Honorary pallbearers will be Jason Fry and Daniel Heredia.
