Transports made in I-20 wrecks

August 8, 2014

Sleep may have been a factor in a wreck on Interstate 20 on Thursday morning around 11:30 a.m. when one vehicle rolled over near mile marker 239 (shown). Sweetwater emergency services personnel extricated the driver of the vehicle and transported him to the hospital via ambulance.
The driver of the truck in another wreck was flown by the AirEvac Life Team to an Abilene hospital after the truck veered off of the road and wrecked just after lunch on Thursday. The wreck occurred near mile marker 259 on Interstate 20 and the cause of the crash is unknown.
