Texas State Technical College in Sweetwater will welcome the chefs and students from the TSTC Culinary Institute (Abilene) to their campus to prepare and serve a series of luncheons on the campus. The complete menus will not be posted, because the class for the week will determine what is served. These are not classes for the people attending, just for participants to attend and enjoy.
The first luncheon in the series is this Friday, May 17 at noon in the Culinary Department on the Sweetwater Campus (Temple Dickson Building). Time is noon and the cost is $10 per person. The topic for this week will be "Charcuterie."
Other luncheons for the summer are scheduled as follows: June 7 (Nutrition is the topic); July 19 (American Regional Cuisine). "We are looking forward to welcoming our Culinary Institute students to Sweetwater and hope this will be an interesting and pleasant addition to your summer schedule," said event organizers.
