TSTC Nursing program receives full approval from board

The Texas State Technical College West Texas LVN to RN program has received full approval from the Texas Board of Nursing. TSTC West Texas launched the Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program in 2007. Since then, more than 120 students have graduated and are helping combat the nursing shortage in the West Texas region.
TSTC is currently accepting applications for the Summer 2014 ADN program. The application can be found at www.westtexas.tstc.edu. The deadline for the Summer 2014 Semester is Feb. 21, 2014. The program has three intakes each year; spring, summer and fall. Students participate in an active learning environment, led by faculty members who represent a wide variety of talents and experience in areas such as Obstetrics, Critical Care, Emergency, Pediatrics, Nursing Education and Surgery. All of our instructors hold a minimum of a Master’s of Science in Nursing.
