TSTC Welding Club thanks area business for donations

Texas State Technical College pipe welding inaugural class with welding instructor Rollen Alaniz thanks David Mueller of Sweetwater Steel, Gene Townsend, Sr. of G.W.E.T. Services, Ron Stein of Texas TST Inc. and the Sweetwater Jaycees for donations to the TSTC Welding Club. The class graduates Friday, May 9, 2014.

The newly minted Texas State Technical College Welding Club would like to thank the following area business for their donations over the past semester. The Sweetwater campus is graduating the first pipe welding class next week, and Welding Club President Raymond Muñoz said, “The donations these companies provided supported the efforts of our club to support the Sweetwater community, as well as supported our training at TSTC.”
The club used much of the donated supplies to fabricate barbecue pits and grills as awards for club raffle giveaways. The companies the TSTC Welding Club would like to thanks are David Mueller of Sweetwater Steel, Gene Townsend, Sr. of G.W.E.T. Services, Ron Stein of Texas TST Inc. and the Sweetwater Jaycees.
