Texas State Technical College West Texas has been named to the coveted Military Friendly Schools list for the third straight year. The 2013 Military Friendly Schools list honors the top 15 percent of colleges, universities and trade schools that are doing the most to embrace America’s military service members, veterans and spouses as students and ensure their success on campus.
“Inclusion on the 2013 list of Military Friendly Schools shows TSTC West Texas’ commitment to providing a supportive environment for military students,” said Sean Collins, Director for G.I. Jobs.
“TSTC West Texas is honored to serve our active duty military and Veteran students. We are enormously proud of our students who have served our country with distinction,” said TSTC West Texas President Gail Lawrence. “TSTC West Texas looks forward to continuing to grow our outreach to this special group of students. We are tremendously pleased to be recognized as Military Friendly School serving the local needs of Big Country active duty and Veteran students. The services we provide are only a small token of appreciation for the tremendous debt we owe those who protect our freedoms.”
