TSTC West Texas receives $65,000 for scholarships

Texas State Technical College West Texas was awarded $65,000 for scholarships from The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board for new and returning students. This grant has been awarded to fund scholarships for students in Texas — Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (T-STEM) related programs.
Applications for a T-STEM scholarship are now available at westtexas.tstc.edu. Click on the button at the bottom of the homepage and follow the directions on the application. Application deadline is July 17, 2013.
These scholarships will be available to be used in the Fall 2013 semester for students enrolled in the following programs: Computer Networking Systems and Administration, Computer Science Database and Web Programming, Environmental Science Technology, Wind Energy and Turbine Technology, Air Conditioning Technology, Applied Engineering Technology, Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, Energy Management and Emergency Medical Technology.
The T-STEM scholarships are available for qualifying students at all four TSTC West Texas locations.
