Guilty pleas entered during district court proceedings

Two people entered guilty pleas during 32nd Judicial District Court proceedings on Monday, Aug. 13, 2012.
Samantha Mae Blake pled true to intoxication assault, which occurred on Nov. 17, 2009.
For her plea, Blake received two and a half years confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice system. She will have to pay a $1,000 fine, $484 in court costs and $1,000 in attorney's fees. 85 days have been credited to her sentence.
Jose Santiago Quintana pled guilty to four separate counts, all second degree felonies. The first, indecency with a child by contact, occurred March 30, 1994; the second, indecency with a child by contact, occurred May 28, 2010; the third, criminal solicitation of a minor, occurred June 1, 2010; the final count, indecency with a child by contact, occurred June 10, 2010. Quintana received 10 years community supervision, a $2,500 fine, $743 in court costs, and will be required to finish 240 hours of community service.
