Two playoffs set here Friday

Abernathy (10-1) and Holliday (9-2) will start the twinbill with a Class 2A, Division II regional matchup that is set to kick off at 3 p.m. The winner advances to the quarter-finals to face either Cisco or Idalou, who play Friday night at Colorado City.
Monahans (10-2) and Brownwood (8-4) will then end the day with a Class 3A, Division II regional shootout that will kick off at 7:30 p.m. Sweetwater faced both teams during the regular season. Friday’s winner advances to the quarterfinals to play either Snyder or Shallowater, who meet on Friday afternoon in Midland.
