32nd District Court proceedings held on Monday, September 24

Two pleas were entered during 32nd Judicial District Court proceedings on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012.
Loraine Danielle Brown pled true to a motion to adjudicate. She was charged with prohibited substance in a correctional facility, a third degree felony, on June 4, 2011. She was originally put on community supervision on Sept. 6, 2011. For her plea, Brown received eight months confinement in the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, probated for three years. She will also have to pay a $1,500 fine, $384 in court costs and $1,000 in attorney's fees. Brown will also have to serve 160 hours of community service and will have to successfully complete CRTC (Court Residential Treatment Center) at a location to be determined by the Nolan County Community Supervision and Corrections Department.
Preston Allen White pled true to revoking his probation. He was originally put on community supervision on March 3, 2008 for unauthorized use of a vehicle, a state jail felony, for an occurrence on Sept. 30, 2007. For his plea, White received 18 months confinement in the State Jail Division of the Texas Department of Criminal Justice. He will also have to pay a fine of $800, $301 in court costs and $1,000 in attorney's fees. White received three years and 352 days credit towards his sentence for time already served in jail.
