College students can get vaccines July 30 |

The Sweetwater-Nolan County Health Department will host a special day on Wednesday, July 30, to promote vaccines for college bound students in conjunction with the regular immunization.
Vaccines for college bound students include meningococcal, Tdap, human papillomavirus, and Tuberculosis. College bound students receiving vaccines will receive a gift. The cost is $6 per child, Medicaid and CHIPS are accepted. New adult vaccines available are Zoster for all uninsured or underinsured adults 60 years of age and older whether or not they have a prior episode of herpes zoster; meningococcal conjugate for uninsured and underinsured adults who are at risk; and human papillomavirus for all uninsured or underinsured female adults between 19-26.
