Then, after Breckenridge closed within 16-6 on a 6-yard run, Colton Mitchell intercepted the Buckaroos' conversion pass and returned it 98 yards for an 18-6 lead at halftime. Kamer scored the final Sweet-water touchdown on a 17-yard run.

The Colts got long-distance TD runs from Fabian Vizzerra (53 yards) and Ryan Linebaugh (50 yards) plus a 5-yard scoring run by Kyle Lambert. In addition to his touchdown, Linebaugh had a pair of two-point conversion runs.
